 This summer to me is all about growth and change. I have been through some crazy stuff, so im coming too. Breaking through the ruffness. Im making new music, i have brand new vibe for those who listened to my music, showing some love to peeps who heard since the get go. I still have that deep sence to send out the message we all want heard. but im also showing that negativity doesn't have to be everything. I have been pissed off about oppression, alienation , colonization, stealing natural resouces and making a profit. Mean while we have our people starving on the street with thier kids. I live the same shit with all of you out there. Living in native housing as a single mother gets to you sometimes. But hey i choose life! i choose to strive for the best for me, my family and my people. I know what it feels like to be on the outside looking in, trying to figure out how to get my goals accomplished. All i can say is you have to be presistanct, consistant, and never , never let anyone tell you- you can't do it. Once you belive those fuckers it all over. So believe in your dreams, you might answer someones prayer. Thats on the real my strong peeps out there working hard. i know its tuff and i know sometimes life just sucks, thats life, we have to go through pain and heart ache. We have to know what that pain feels like, that how we know we are alive! Thats how we come to appreciate certain parts of our selves. They say you never know what you lost till its gone, aint that the truth. But also we learn whats important about some one and what you enjoyed in that companionship. And what you would not except in you next encouter. Its also important to set boundries with people, you are more important to yourself more than anyone. Never let your self go unappreciated. Give back to those who have been there for through thick and thin, be there for them. they will be there for you when you most need it. Especially family. SO heres a butterfly to embrace the beautful change that comes after hard work and time.
